in me 'onest opinion; really like the intro, prolly wouldn't have noticed the melo round .40 but i did now, the drastic change is a bit too drastic, but i like the idea behind it. maar een langzame opbouw zou ook wel nice kunnen zijn. all in all i really like this tryout, you should definitly go explore, the best part for me is the first.
;)

BpOlar    -  11 December 2009
very clean sound ... maybe a bit too clean for my liking ... but I'm not a reference on these sounds as you might know

CruizeOfFiction    -  11 December 2009
I realy realy liked it!

though the mixdown is a bit somber, more highs needed?

ow and too dry at the end (ha! en gij da altijd maar over mij zeggen ma deze keer e gij der ook van ze ventje;) )

big thumbs, I realy realy like it!

HyeVolture    -  11 December 2009
cool to hear a slower piece with slow beats

maybe a harder snare could spicen it a bit up? don't think the change is too drastic) nothing really bothering in this track I guess. changes aren"t always as drastic as you think  or better: even if a change in music IS drastic, it isn't bad! (maybe something a lot of ebellians tend to forget)

stryder    -  11 December 2009
that sounds like zelda, awesome!

Skip    -  11 December 2009
Zelda? how come

particle    -  11 December 2009
vet man, very cool, although i'd say that the second could maybe use an extra element mhmhm
great sounds and trrrrreatment
difference between the two parts is not too drastic for me, i think they fit well together ?

Skip    -  11 December 2009
Ill probably use the 2nd DnB-style part as an outro.
I used this formula a number of times alreaddy so.
thanx homeboys

dialekte    -  11 December 2009
nice, i like the hip hop part

Omyiga    -  12 December 2009
I enjoyed yes, tis weer keer iets anders wa, second part misses mss nog a bitjen "pit"

Rag    -  12 December 2009
nice nice
only thing: some more dynamics would make it much more i think

Skip    -  12 December 2009
thanx rag
do you mean some more experimentation with sound and more variation (?)

Rag    -  13 December 2009
yeah perhaps that too, but i actually meant some other part(s) like a transition part and then some kind of climax or something (to give a cliché example),
because now it's good but it stays a bit on the same place, if you understand what i mean...

teebo    -  14 December 2009
nice one skip
very unskiplike ritme, but i enjoyed it

Skip    -  15 December 2009
thanx buddy, was going for a not so skip-like beat there.

MnemOnic    -  16 December 2009
nice

CruizeOfFiction    -  17 December 2009
blijft een vetjen

Akwalek    -  17 December 2009
verry cool new way,

especially the intro,

i would loose the second uber-skip melo part and work out that first melody/ritm more...
vijverkes, wolkskes, sneeuw (blijkbaar)...
u get zhe picture

oh, und outro?

Skip    -  23 December 2009
thanx for tips guys, will work on this one...juuust for yooouuu...aaauuuwwww

Rag    -  20 February 2010
jup pretty cool:)

CruizeOfFiction    -  20 February 2010
this song is sooooo awesome

but my comments about the mixdown remain (highs). Also the bass needs some more EQ-ing cose it takes over a tad too much.

too be honest I'm not too found of the typical skip sound at the end. The 4/4 is cool but those quick notes kind off mess up the vibe at the end imo

thumbs all around, nice one

Skip    -  20 February 2010
cool
well let me contradict myself
idd the acidline at the end might be over it,but I liked the idea to use it just as an outro.but again indeed, fast melody is somehow too-big of a step.
and the sound is offcourse more electronic than previous sounds used for the main melody (who're more accoustic) wich makes it an ever bigger step.
it needs a part right before the acid imo,but didnt come this far yet

bout the mix,I like it deep and sharp

will work on it after more commento's

aia    -  21 February 2010
Excellent

SunnyMuffins    -  21 February 2010
love it, the acidline bumps in a bit unexpected at the end in my humble opinion.
voor de rest origineel, eigenwijs, lekker, ... i'm a big fan!

Skip    -  23 February 2010
