LilDaze - 17 February 2007
super! did you only use FL studio for this? great dark and psychedelic atmo. As allready said you can hear some goa influences By the way i wouldn't call this electro. |
aphone - 17 February 2007
|
oh gosh!!! superb track mate, added to favs direct, could be in triphop more then electro i think, loved all parts, sounds, tssssssss TOO GOOD!! |
bandarlog - 17 February 2007
Wowawiwa, the comments: I like
I used FL 7 to make this and there are some new techniques I recently discovered in them! A lot of the squeelchy snare/lead hybrid slightly distorted sounds at the end are made with fruity squeeze, the brand new sliceroption 'monophonic' and a dynamic autofilter. If you like this one: most of the tracks on my to-be-released album will be like them. As for the style: yeah, no electro maybe, but triphop dunno... downbeat: maybe a bit to harsh percussion. Definite version on its way, I am adding some higher percussion sounds to balance it of a bit higher and fresher.
Thanks for all the lovely comments!
ps: The voice samples come from the movie "Zelig" by Woody Allen. |

I was not that impressed with the first part, but when the song was reaching 2min and somthing, it got a real nice change and then especially in the end which is brilliant, even got me thinking of shpongle-stuff!!! the twisties and trekjes etc!, great stuff! |
bandarlog - 18 February 2007
|
Update! Added some higher percussion and 1 minute which makes it more electro at the end. |

bandarlog - 19 February 2007

Right on Spazzmano, I played too much with it. If it were dancemusic you could do this but in this genre.... I'll cut some things out of it I think. |

bandarlog - 19 February 2007
Spazmanno: this is by now the third version with as only difference from the first version 30 secs at the end and some higher percussion that were desperately needed. And plus: this version is better mastered. Don't get too romantic about that first version |
SpazzMano - 20 February 2007
ok, idiscover the version 3 know |
SpazzMano - 20 February 2007
is perfect |
LeBelgeElectrod - 22 February 2007
The title "The lizard of Oz " remind me an old C64 title game : "Wizard of Wor".

Very recognizable Bandarlog-style, but maybe also something fresh here and there, like the atmospheric synths in the beginning for instance, or the cello. It’s pretty much a chill song. And love that cello in the middle, that’s just beautiful. The mix and mastering is top notch again, and we wouldn’t expect anything else from you. I dig the relaxed mood of the song, combined with the laidback synths and pads. So like I already mentioned, would be able to glue your name to this song amongst a thousand others, but the atmospheric parts still give it a new dimension in your soundsketching escapades. |
